Profile of Training Director
Ziyaad Mahomed has been involved in training for the last 10 years. He is the Training Director at the only dedicated Islamic Finance Training institute on the continent of Africa and has delivered lectures on the topic throughout South Africa.
He has authored the study material used for distance learning at the Institute including a booklet on Islamic Insurance. He has also co-authored 8 study guides on Mathematics, Science and Accounting.
Ziyaad has contributed articles on Islamic Finance & Banking that have been published in national newspapers for the last 5 years. He has a dedicated monthly column on the subject for three national newspapers and has appeared as guest and host on numerous radio programs nationally. He has received formal education and training through respected institutes in the country including the University of Johannesburg (formerly RAU), Univeristy of Kwazulu/Natal(UKZN) and the Management College of South Africa (MANCOSA). His qualifications include those in commerce, marketing, Islamic Law & Quranic Science amongst others. |
